video killed the radio star
First attempt at using the video button on my camera below:
definitely some possibilities there, just be easier if there are people to film I guess

This all singing and dancing camera you bought seem to be great. Keep up the good work
Frank
Thanks Frank. Hope those legs are sorted in the not too distant future. Been a while.
Slow down, you’re moving too fast.
Saw the Dr today. Lost 2stone so far I can get intp trousers that were too tight and were about to be sent to the charity shop. If I go on like this I will be up to “whip your ass”and show you how to catch fish in no time.
Obviously you have now got your prayer mat facing east
Frank
My prayer mat faces up Frank, or at least one side does, the other side faces down.
I look forward to a lesson from the master of fishy tales as soon as those legs are healed.
oh, and Rob, I’m like a whirlwind me, non stop energy and excitement. well, maybe, once in a while, sorta.
Nice video, is it called video still?
I believe it was shot with a Lumix GF1, I have the same camera and really enjoy its compactness which allows me to keep it with me at all times.
However I have been a bit frustrated when filming as I find the autofocus tends to hunt around constantly, have you found this?
Luke, good to hear from you. It was indeed shot on a GF-1.
Yes the AF is a bit fussy and constantly hunts about. Where I don’t want that to happen or I’m focussing on a pretty static object or distance from camera I just close down the aperture a bit and go to manual focus.
Thanks for the tips, I’ve mostly used video mode trying to film my kids but they never stay still do they.
Alas no opportunity yet this year when fly fishing, you are fortunate to live so close to so many lovely rivers, for me to film my walk to the nearest suitable river the resulting film would be several days long!
Over here in Sussex our rivers are mostly muddy and not at all appealing.
Who is the accompanying band?
Looking forward to your next post.
band is called relatively clean rivers, from 1975 or something around there.
Thanks found them on youtube very 1970′s!
